Business Development Manager – Bus & Coach (Public Sector Focus)
Location: Home-based with regular travel to our Hellaby offices 2–3 times a week

About this Role
We’re looking for a relationship-led Business Development Manager to drive growth within our Bus and Coach business unit, with a specific focus on the Ambulance and Patient Transport Services sector. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives on winning new contracts and building long-term partnerships, especially within the public sector.

  • Generate and manage new business opportunities across NHS and public service networks
  • Build trust with key decision-makers in local and national public sector organisations
  • Stay on top of funding models, procurement frameworks, and fleet strategy trends
  • Deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of your client base
  • Work collaboratively with teams across sales, operations, and asset management

About You
You’ll be an experienced public sector sales professional who knows how to open doors, but just as importantly, knows how to keep them open. You have the confidence to lead conversations, the curiosity to understand client challenges, and the resilience to turn strategy into sales.

  • Proven track record in public sector B2B sales, especially in contract or fleet-based environments
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally
  • Comfortable working independently and contributing to a close-knit team
  • Strong attention to detail with a customer-first mindset

Even if you don’t match every skill listed, we encourage you to apply—great potential matters to us.
